This Ramadan 2025, we are once again working with the Zakat Fund of Kalamoun, Koura, and Batroun to deliver Zakat al-Fitr directly to poor families in Northern Lebanon. Over the last few Eids, through your generous support we were able to provide Zakat al-Fitr to countless families in need. Alhamdulillah — and we are deeply grateful for your continued trust and generosity. Given the current situation in Lebanon, we are opening a general humanitarian campaign as well, so you can donate your Fitr, Zakat, Sadaqa, or general giving below.

How Much is Zakat al-Fitr?

Zakat al-Fitr is $6 per person, for more information on how we reached this number, see SimpleZakatGuide.com/Fitr. It is incumbent upon the head of household to pay on behalf of every person in their family, young or old. If you’d like to give another amount, just enter it in the field below.

How Much is Fidya?

If you were unable to fast during Ramadan, Fidya Sā’im or Kaffāra applies — this is the obligation to feed one poor person for each day of missed fasting, and it equals $3 per day (half the amount of Zakat al-Fitr).

What if I want to give Zakat al-Mal or Sadaqa?

You can give both by selecting the amount you’d like to give below. All amounts will be reported to Dar al-Fatwa’s Zakat office and distributed accordingly.

Please enter the total amount you wish to donate for your Zakat al-Fitr, Fidya, or general humanitarian contribution in the form below.

Here’s how this works:

  • Wellspring Endowment accepts Zakat al-Fitr donations on your behalf.
  • We report the amount collected to the Zakat Fund in Northern Lebanon.
  • Zakat Fund distributes the same amount to the poor on the night of Eid.
  • Wellspring transfers the collected amounts to the Zakat Fund, covering all related fees and costs not otherwise provided for.
  • As the Zakat Fund and its management are best placed to understand the economic situation and needs of their local community, we have delegated to them the decision of whether food, in-kind goods, or cash donations are most appropriate during the distribution process.

Use the payment form above to donate. Once your payment is complete, you will be taken to a “Payment Confirmation” page — please save or print that page for your records.
