The future of Islamic education and refugee empowerment

Are you concerned about the future of Islamic education and refugee empowerment?

Do you believe that education is a fundamental right that should be accessible to all children, regardless of their location or background?

If you answered yes, then we have an opportunity for you to make a real difference!

But why is this campaign important?

The future of Islamic education and refugee empowerment. Our campaign is designed to provide triple social impacts through a single donation, including sponsoring teachers, students, and establishing a sustainable educational system.

The truth is that moral ethics and family values are at risk in public schools in many countries, leading to a need for alternative, accredited online Islamic education. Additionally, civil wars in many parts of the world are depriving children of quality education, leaving thousands in need of basic education for a better life.

The Orphan Foundation estimates that more than 1.2 million orphans in Syria alone lack access to education. Furthermore, refugees fleeing to western countries face moral conflicts that threaten their sense of identity and belonging. That’s where our campaign comes in.

Our campaign was born out of servicing this population. We created an Islamic online education platform, called Sahlah Academy, to support teachers and engage students, regardless of location. With your help, we can provide educational life skills to those who need it the most.

TRIPLE IMPACT – A new way of effective charity

Your single gift will have a triple impact. By sponsoring a teacher (Impact #1), you’re helping them become a qualified teacher with an accredited international academic certificate and strong, sustainable employment opportunities. By sponsoring a learner (Impact #2), you’re placing a teacher with a class of 45 needy students for 3 to 6 months, providing free educational services to students worldwide. Finally, by supporting the platform (Impact #3), you’re donating to help build a sustainable educational ecosystem.

Our Goal This Ramadan

With several giving levels we’re hoping to make it easy for you to help us meet our fundraising goal of $60,000 for the month of Ramadan, allowing us to support over 80 teachers and over 3,700 students for one year. The levels available below include:

  • One Month: $60,
  • One Quarter: $180,
  • Half Year: $360, and
  • Full Year: $720.
  • Pay What You Like

With several ways to donate this Ramadan, we hope that you’ll join us in meeting the needs of Muslim children around the world for accredited, quality, education in general academics, Islamic studies, and vocational skills.
